Less common ones are:
- neuroendocrine tumors
- gastrointestinal stromal tumors
- malignant melanoma in a metastatic stage
- cancer of the bladder
- kidneys
- primary and secondary brain tumors, etc.
In view of the exceptional possibilities of diagnosis at the Hospital – at European and world level – here we can diagnose, stage and follow patients with all types of solid tumors. This allows each patient to have an individual treatment algorithm behavior in order to be given personalized care, including most advanced methods of treatment.
This personal treatment algorithm indicates the type and method of diagnosis, active treatment with chemotherapy, target treatment, endocrine therapy, conventional radiotherapy, intensive modulated radiotherapy or radiosurgery.
The clinic offers the most modern environment for anti-tumor therapy, each patient is provided with opportunities to receive anti-cancer drugs at their comfortable single-bed room; we offer centralized robotic dissolving of drugs, we monitor veins using an ultrasound when inserting an IV or an infusion pump – thus achieving optimum control of the drug concentration and flow to the body.
The Hospital has departments providing consultations and second opinion exams, preparation of patients for submitting documents for the Oncology Commission, forwarding for additional (necessary) exams in order to make an accurate diagnosis as well as subsequent treatment, an office for further dispensary treatment of cancer patients of oncology patients.
